Step back in time…
The Island Hotel has 10 rooms, all of them individual and all having very little in common with any hotel. To preserve the romantic and traditional ambiance, there are no televisions or telephones in the rooms. They all have the original hand-cut wooden walls and floors, and are centrally heated and air conditioned. Guests may use the upstairs lobby and the balcony, where you may relax in our rocking chairs. Or enjoy the double swing, where many couples have succumbed to the romance of the hotel and become engaged. Some also come back and get married here! Rooms are non-smoking. All of our rooms have private bathrooms. The rooms have traditional ceiling fans. Some minimum nights stay are required for holiday periods.
Complimentary Hot Breakfast
The room rate includes a full breakfast each morning, either in our dining room or, weather permitting, on our screened porch. Breakfast includes fresh brewed Colombian roast coffee or imported and herbal teas, fruit juice, and a choice of the house-specialty cooked breakfast.
